Meet PhilPhil enjoys hikingHe enjoys going to gigs and festivals, comedy, watching and occasionally playing football, travelling and photography. Having lost his mum 7 years ago, he struggled to talk about his feelings to other people, so is looking forward to meeting people in the same situation, make new friends and to help and learn from each other.

Meet JenJen loves yoga and getting outsideJen is a yoga teacher in Manchester but enjoys anything that gets her out in nature, dancing or exploring the world. She became a Let’s Talk About Loss Host in 2025 after losing her dad during lockdown to cancer.
Complicated grief led her deeper into yoga, which has since become her passion and anchor. As someone who knows how lonely grief can feel, holding space for others who are navigating loss feels really important to Jen, whether in a circle of shared stories at the pub or on the yoga mat. Jen values the power of gentle community and honest conversation as a way of finding a way back to ourselves in the midst of grief.
