Creative Writing About Loss

Let’s Talk About Loss runs a creative writing group, a place for 18-35 year olds to share their writing, be it poetry, fiction, non fiction or something different, all to do with loss. You don’t have to have any writing experience to join. Our moderator Bridget Hamilton shares prompts, articles and relevant opportunities with the group. Everyone is welcome to share their writing, but there is no pressure to!

New from March 2026!

We are now running monthly online Creative Writing About Loss sessions. Each month will focus on a different theme, but anyone – regardless of their grief experience – is welcome at any session. You can take part in them all or pick and choose – from an LGBTQIA+ writing session in July to a Men’s Writing session in honour of Movember, we hope there is one planned that will resonate with you!

Sessions will be facilitated by our moderator Bridget Hamilton, along with some special guest writers.

To join, please message us on social media or email creativewriting@letstalkaboutloss.org and we will share the meeting link.
