Join our Facebook group

If you’re aged 18-35, have been bereaved, and live in Liverpool, you can join our Facebook group for people who have been to, or are wanting to come to, a meet up. It’s a safe space only for those who have been bereaved, and you’ll be able to find out all the latest information about the meet ups. Request to join by clicking here.

Hosts

Our Hosts in Liverpool are Jess and Zoe! If you have any questions before the meet up, do email them using liverpool@letstalkaboutloss.org.

Jess

Jess is 23 and from a town called Ormskirk, a small town about 30 minutes away from Liverpool – apparently famous for their gingerbread! Her dad Paul passed away in 2017 from a rare neurological condition called MSA. After watching the BBC 3 documentary ‘Learning to Grieve’, Jess messaged Let’s Talk About Loss and has been attending the Manchester virtual meet ups during lockdown. She finds talking to people who have similar stories really helpful and always comes away from the meet ups feeling so much better.

Zoe

Zoe is a 29 year old solicitor from Liverpool. She has been attending the virtual Manchester meet ups this year but is looking forward to Hosting in Liverpool and attending in person meet ups when possible! Zoe finds reading up on things and talking them through helpful and thinks this applies to grief and loss as much as anything else. Zoe finds solace in yoga, reading and writing.
