Meet your Luton Hosts

Eilish

Eilish is a 25 year old History post graduate from Bedfordshire. She enjoys playing football and going to museums. Eilish got involved with Let’s Talk About Loss because she wanted to see more people from her background represented in grief groups. Eilish lost her mother in 2017 and wants to help create a safe space for young adults to speak about grief in the Luton area.

Georgia

Georgia is 27 year old podcast producer from Dunstable. She regularly covers grief and mental health in her work as well as on her personal blog where she writes about her personal experience of loss. When she isn’t working, Georgia is usually binge watching documentaries or hanging out with her dog. When Georgia lost her younger brother in 2013, she felt there wasn’t a lot of resources for young people who are grieving, so she feels proud to be part of the Let’s Talk About Loss community, helping people feel less alone in their journey with loss.

We can't wait to meet you! Email luton@letstalkaboutloss.org to chat!

MEET UP FAQs

How will I know where you are?

Our meet up Hosts will be wearing white t-shirts with Let’s Talk About Loss written on them, so you can spot us in a crowd!

Will everyone be sad?

Definitely not. Although we’ve all been bereaved, we aim to have lots of fun at meet ups and chat about lots of things, not just grief. You won’t be asked or expected to share your grief story unless you want to.

What will we do?

Most of our meet ups are activity based, so we are doing something and not just sitting around chatting. We hope you’ll have lots of fun!

How do I sign up?

You don’t need to tell us you’re coming along – feel free to just turn up! If you want to chat to someone before coming along, email us using the form on this page, and we can always meet you beforehand.
