Hosts

Our Hosts in Birmingham are Katie and Henry. They can’t wait to meet you soon! Email birmingham@letstalkaboutloss.org if you have any questions.

Katie

Katie is 22 years old and works as a finance assistant for a charity in Birmingham. She enjoys going out for long walks with her dog, baking and seeing friends. Katie lost her Mum at 19 while at university so understands how lonely and confusing grief can be. She has found talking about her loss helpful and hopes she can use her experience to help others.

Henry

Henry is a 28 year old secondary school teacher from Birmingham. He believes effective communication is the key to relieving many of life’s anxieties, and, having lived abroad, is aware of how culture and taboo can impact the grief process. Henry is interested in linguistics, science and philosophy; he understands the importance of helping others.
